Women In STEM
As one of the first ambassadors for my school’s chapter, I helped establish Women in STEM as part of the global WiSTEM International network. I guided members in writing and publishing research summaries, promoted STEM awareness through campaigns, and co-led mentorship programs connecting high school and middle school students. As Co-President, I fostered collaboration across chapters and built an inclusive space where young women felt empowered to pursue innovation and leadership in STEM.
National Honor Society (NHS)
As an NHS member, I engaged in service initiatives that connected academics with community impact. I participated in donation drives, peer tutoring programs, and outreach efforts supporting local families. Collaborating with peers, I upheld NHS’s four pillars, scholarship, leadership, service, and character, by mentoring others and reinforcing the value of integrity, responsibility, and service within my community.
Student Ambassador for Events
As an Events Ambassador, I represented JIS at school-wide and international events, providing tours and assistance to visiting families and IASAS participants. I helped organize community-building events such as Naga Night, showcasing school spirit and teamwork. These experiences strengthened my communication and organizational skills while promoting a welcoming environment for guests and students alike.
Student Ambassador for Transition (Dragon Buddy)
Through the Dragon Buddy program, I supported new students in adjusting to JIS life through mentorship, tours, and one-on-one guidance. I provided practical support during their first weeks, answered questions about academics and student life, and helped them feel part of the community. This role deepened my empathy and leadership, emphasizing inclusion and care in every interaction.
Educaid
Through Educaid, I helped provide educational support to Indonesian migrant workers in Jakarta. I assisted in organizing tutoring sessions, designing lesson materials, and guiding learners through basic literacy and digital skills. The experience allowed me to contribute to social equity and recognize the power of education in empowering underrepresented communities.
Wonderfood Indonesia
I helped prepare, pack, and deliver food and essential supplies to underprivileged villages. Working alongside community members, I contributed to distributing meals to over 100 families while coordinating logistics to ensure efficient and respectful outreach. The experience deepened my understanding of food insecurity and strengthened my commitment to service-based impact.
